GLRYHoLE
GLRYHoLE represents the social messaging and apps of the day. Before the apps and clubs were readily and legally available, men's toilets were a space to find release either at the urinal, through the gloryhole in the cubical, sex within the toilets themselves or as a meeting space to move onto a park, derelict building or VERY rarely someone's home.
It demonstrates a time in our queer history where such acts were illegal, physically dangerous (assaults and worse) and social standing wrecking if caught as it would be published in the press and you'd be labelled a beast, sexual deviant - losing your job, your family etc.
GLRYHoLE reminds us of the art of the chase, the thrill of seeing another man's dick and letting your desire wash over you ... or splatter as the case maybe.
GLRYHoLE is a handbuilt, hand painted and engraved ceramic art piece.
